Keith Nash
Keith has recently opened a new studio gallery at Alby Crafts called The Echo Barn Gallery. The gallery features mainly Keith’s contemporary style watercolours of the coastline and countryside of Norfolk. In addition to this new venture, Keith also exhibits at six other galleries in the region.
He describes himself as a traditional landscape artist struggling to become a contemporary landscape artist. He is a firm believer that “less is more”, but like most artists, finds it hard to know when to put the brush down!
Dramatic skies, creative lighting and foreground water are trademarks of his paintings. Often working with a limited palette of two to three watercolours, his work has an impressionistic and atmospheric quality.
His paintings have been influenced by William Turner, Hugh Brandon-Cox, and more recently by Trevor Chamberlain and Edward Seago.
